How To Connect Two Routers Without Cable easy way

 Hello viewers, A warm welcome In this video, we will see how to extend our existing WiFi network We will add another WiFi modem or router in our network There are different methods to extend WiFi range,

like replacing antennas with another long range antenna Long range antenna can extend WiFi range but it may cost you heavily Second method is to use a new WiFi modems and connect that modem via long Ethernet cable to your existing WiFi modem you can see this method in the image this is mostly used but difficult to layout cable outside the building In third method, we use a new WiFi modem and place it in the range of existing WiFi modem so that they could communicate each other second or new modem is called Extended router after placing the second router in the range of first router,

 We will configure both modems to communicate each other through wireless link we will configure WDS feature on any modem Wireless Distribution System Both routers will share internet through WDS and range will be increased No need to layout cable outside of your home, office or store I am using two WiFi modems TP-Link TLWR 720N, enable WDS on this modem Secondary modem is made of PTCL its model is AN1020-25U you can see IP Address Primary IP 192.168.0.1 Secondary IP is 192.168.1.1 WDS requires 3 easy steps, First step is to change IP address range to a same range in second step, disable DHCP server on secondary modem Third step is to enable 

WDS on any of your modem, either primary or secondary i prefer to enable WDS on secondary router lets connect to our secondary router open browser and put IP address 192.168.1.1 put credentials before finishing the first step change the password of WLAN Go to wireless settings go to security tab change WPA Passphrase to your desired password Click apply and save Go to LAN settings and change the IP address give IP from primary modem range in second step, disable DHCP server click apply and save now connect PC to primary modem and enable WDS on primary modem and add secondary router there login to primary router 192.168.0.1 put username and passwords on home screen, see that WDS status is disabled enable WDS and add secondary router to configure WDS, 

click on wireless enable WDS and click on survey you can see all the available WiFi networks around you secondary router is also available here note down it's channel number it's channel is 6 click on connect secondary router is added and MAC Address is changed as well now add the username and password click on save now check the channel number, it must be same on both routers now save the configurations and reboot the router after restart we are back again See, WDS is in running mode. 

both modems have established connectivity and working fine because WDS is configured, so during restart my laptop is connected to secondary router and internet is also available through secondary router let's open a website to check internet Hurraaaaahhhh, internet is available through secondary modem changing connectivity from secondary to primary does not affect the browsing now place secondary modem away from your primary modem but within the range maintain a safe distance so that communication does not get affected WDS almost doubles your existing WiFi range thanks.
